Manpower Malta on behalf of our client are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Senior Technical Officer to join our clients team. Reporting to the Technical Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the clients technical initiatives and member engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and research local and international developments relevant to the profession.
Draft technical guidance and thought leadership content for members.
Manage and maintain technical resources, including the clients e-library and publications.
Respond to technical queries from members and external stakeholders.
Contribute to the design and delivery of the clients Continuous Professional Education (CPE) programme.
Deliver presentations at events, conferences, and CPE sessions.
Represent the client in internal committees and international forums, including Accountancy Europe and IFAC.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and contribute to national and international policy discussions.
Assist in the preparation of key publications, including the Annual Report.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years practical experience in a relevant Maltese finance-related role such as accounting, banking, economics, taxation, investment, insurance, or public policy.
Strong technical knowledge and professional judgement within the local regulatory and business environment.
Impeccable written English and ideally strong spoken English for participation in events and stakeholder engagement.
Ability to analyse and communicate complex financial or regulatory information clearly and concisely.
A collaborative mindset, with the confidence to represent the client in high-level discussions and forums.
