On behalf of our client, Manpower is seeking to recruit a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie for a reputable restaurant.
Prepare and present dishes within your section to the highest standards
Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in developing new dishes and menus
Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with health and safety regulations
Oversee commis chefs and support their development
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner during service
Maintain stock control, portioning, and waste reduction
Collaborate with other sections to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef ready for the next step
Solid understanding of kitchen procedures and health & safety regulations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Culinary school diploma or equivalent is a plus
