Head of Development & Technical Operations

On behalf of our client, Manpower is looking for a results-driven Head of Development & Technical Operations to lead a high-performing global tech team across Malta, Bulgaria, and Cameroon.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives on execution, innovation, and operational excellence.

What youll do:

• Lead and manage a distributed team of developers, QA, IT engineers, and team leads.
• Own the technical roadmap from planning to delivery on time, at top quality.
• Drive DevOps, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and automation with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align development with business goals.
• Travel frequently to oversee teams on-site and maintain strategic alignment.

What you bring:

• 5+ years in a senior tech leadership role, ideally in iGaming or online platforms.
• Strong experience in Agile, DevOps, and cloud operations.
• Tech expertise in PHP, JavaScript (Angular/React), WordPress, Cloudflare, SQL/NoSQL, Redis/RabbitMQ.
• Strong security background: WAF, DDoS protection, SSL/TLS.
• Excellent communication in English & ability to manage high-performing remote teams.

Based across Malta | Sofia | Cameroon travel required.
