Executive (Research and Development)
Position Overview
The Executive (Research & Development) will be responsible for leading research initiatives, developing innovative solutions, and enhancing service offerings for the client. The role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Head (Research & Development), and other members of the R&D Department to ensure alignment and adherence to the client's service delivery, user research and quality assurance standards to improve User Experiences;
- Participating and representing the Agency in meetings (internal and external) as recommended by the Head (Research & Development) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO);
- Preparing agendas, materials, and presentations for meetings;
- Recording and transcribing meeting minutes in an accurate manner, and following up on action items;
- Ensuring that departmental files and documentation are kept in order and updated regularly;
- Monitoring departmental action targets and ensuring necessary follow-ups with all stakeholders;
- Analysing of documents and inputting of data in specialised systems within the Structural Funds Database and other online government platforms;
- Assisting in maintaining platforms utilised for excellent service delivery. These may include, but not limited to, procedures and information relating to Government services, SFD and CRM;
- Collating and compiling service delivery data for reporting and decisionmaking as required;
- Assisting in research being carried out and in the drafting of Quality Procedures and Policies, Business reviews, Surveys and other statistical and analytical tools;
- Dealing with requests and seeks quotations for the purchase of goods and services as requested by Management
- Maintaining the necessary level of confidentiality commensurate to the level of responsibility but also shares all relevant information with Management who is also bound by confidentiality;
- Other job-related duties as assigned by the Head (Research & Development) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) from time to time;
- Attend training as required to learn and keep up to date with industry standard requirements and as directed by the Head (R&D) from time to time.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 1 subject at Advanced Level and 2 subjects at Intermediate Level
OR
- 6 subjects at Ordinary Level with good pass grades (1-5) which must include English, Maltese and Mathematics, plus 2 years relevant work experience preferably in administration
- Must be fluent in Maltese and English
