Senior Technical Operations Engineer
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Technical Operations Engineer to join our client's Billing & CRM team. If you're an expert in system monitoring, proactive maintenance, and problem solving, this role is for you!
In this role, your primary responsibilities will be the following:
- Monitor systems at various levels (application, database, and server) to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Perform proactive maintenance to enhance platform stability and performance.
- Conduct fast and thorough root cause analysis to resolve incidents effectively.
- Use and develop monitoring tools to identify application-level issues and collaborate with CRM developers to address them.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation to refine and improve operational processes.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Job requirements
- Expertise in database management and SQL (SQL Server and Oracle).
- Proficiency with monitoring tools and scripting for automation.
- Strong command of Linux and shell scripting.
- Significant hands-on experience in application and system monitoring and maintenance in a senior capacity.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps and IT Infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent communication abilities.
