Technical Specialist - Cash & Queuing Automation Division
Manpower is seeking to recruit a Technical Support Specialist to join our client team.
Overview
The selected candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting electro-mechanical equipment and automation machines, including Note/Coin Deposit/Recycling Machines, Air Monitoring Equipment, and Queuing Systems. The role involves preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of all equipment supplied by the company, with direct reporting to the Operations Manager - Technical & Sales Division.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and support a range of electro-mechanical and automation equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance routines and perform troubleshooting as needed.
- Maintain and support queuing systems, air monitoring equipment, and money-handling machines.
- Collaborate effectively with the technical team to ensure seamless operation of equipment.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience supporting mechanical and electronic equipment.
- Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering preferred (MQF Level 4 desirable).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows Operating Systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Reliable, with a clean police conduct certificate and valid driving license.
- Team-oriented, organized, and detail-focused.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to work on-call (rotation basis) and to travel for training purposes.
- Preference given to candidates with Maltese language skills and IT support experience.
