Machine Operator

Manpower is seeking to recruit an Operator to join our client team.

Overall Purpose

To safely perform a variety of tasks, including stacking corrugated products and ensuring operational efficiency.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up materials/jobs on machines according to supporting documentation.
• Complete necessary data entry documentation for each job.
• Run the machine and monitor its operation.
• Perform troubleshooting and adjustments as needed.
• Conduct quality checks on products.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Operate forklifts and assist in loading or moving materials and products.
• Follow all Health & Safety rules and regulations.
• Participate in training and learning opportunities provided by the company.
• Support and train the machine team as necessary.
• Communicate relevant information to supervisors promptly.
• Adhere to all company work processes.
• Actively seek opportunities for improvement and advancement within the company.
• Stay updated on developments within the area of work.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate in Maltese and/or English.
• Willingness to learn and to participate in training provided.

The appropriate candidate needs to be responsible, reliable, and meticulous, with the ability to work in an efficient manner.
