Core Networks Engineer

Summary

Manpower is seeking to recruit a Mobile Core Networks Engineer to join our client team and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation, stability, and performance of the company's core network.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Innovate and Implement: Research, recommend, and deploy technical solutions to enhance network performance.
  • Troubleshoot and Optimise: Diagnose issues and implement timely solutions to ensure network reliability.
  • Deploy and Maintain: Introduce new equipment while ensuring the smooth operation of existing systems.
  • Monitor and Analyse: Track performance through technical reports, data analysis, and proactive system monitoring.
  • Document and Train: Prepare technical procedures and provide training to enhance team knowledge.
  • Lead and Drive Projects: Take ownership of network-related initiatives, ensuring successful execution.

Requirements:

    • Education: Degree or Diploma in ICT, IT, Networking, Telecommunications, or a related field.
    • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably working with Ericsson mobile data core equipment and Cisco IP networking.
    • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of mobile data core networks, IP networking, and mobile protocols (GTP, SS7, Diameter).
    • Network Analysis: Experience in protocol tracing and analysis.
    • Linux and Scripting: Familiarity with Linux environments and scripting for automation.
    • Team Player: Strong collaboration skills with a results-driven mindset.
    • Communication: Good command of the English language.
    • Driving Requirement: A valid driving licence.
