We are currently seeking to recruit a Financial Controller to join our growing and dynamic team. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities:
· Preparing of management accounts for the Firm on a quarterly basis as well as preparing of financial statements, including consolidated figures;
· Managing the day-to-day transactions such as postings, reconciliations, receivables and payables as well as bank payments and deposits;
· Compiling of various financial reports for internal and external use;
· Preparation and submission of regulatory returns;
· Liaising and assisting external auditors during the audit process;
· Assisting in specific assignments and projects as assigned by management;
· Supporting and guiding other team members within the Finance department;
· Any other duties which may be required from time to time.
Job Requirements:
· Fully qualified and warranted in accounts locally. Candidates in their final stages of ACCA will also be considered;
· A minimum 5 years working experience in a similar role locally, ideally within the corporate services industry;
· Highly proficient in Microsoft Office especially MS Excel and SAGE;
· Excellent verbal and written skills in both English and Maltese;
· Team player with strong leadership skills;
· Meticulous with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
