Generator Operators
Manpower is currently looking for a Generator Operators to join our client's dynamic team.
The Generator Operator will be responsible for:
- Operating and controlling machinery and systems used in power generation such as generators, and other auxiliary equipment.
- Monitoring various indicators, gauges, and meters to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and systems within the power plant.
- Making adjustments to controls and settings based on operational needs and changes in demand to maintain efficient and safe operations.
- Conducting routine maintenance tasks and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues or hazards.
- Being prepared to respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations, such as equipment malfunctions and power outages.
- Adhering to established procedures, protocols, and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a safe working environment.
- Working collaboratively with other operators and maintenance personnel to coordinate activities and achieve operational goals.
The successful candidate should preferably have:
- 1-3 years experience in a similar role.
- The ability to work on their own initiative as well as form part of a team.
- Fluency in English.
- In a possession of a driving license.
