Events Crew

Manpower is seeking resourceful and proactive individuals to expand our Client's Events Crew!  

About the role:

The Events Crew work in a fast and versatile environment, providing manual labour and rigging services to bring quality events to life. They are the people behind the efficient setup of venues, dispatching of equipment, operation of machines, and maintenance of our warehouse and resources.

Duties :

1. Implementing the building/creating, dispatching, delivery, setup and dismantling of events (including conferences, teambuilding and other event setups);
2. Communicating with Event Coordinators in the run-up to and during implementation of events;
3. Liaising with third-parties including suppliers and transport companies;
4. Operating vehicles and equipment in safe and efficient ways according to Health & Safety regulations;
5. Using space wisely and handling mechanical equipment efficiently;
6. Coordinating the use of automated and computerized systems when necessary;
7. Maintaining standards of quality and health & safety in the work environment;
8. Perform other duties as required from time to time.

Ideal candidates:

• A team player, organized, self-motivated, an eye for detail and able to work with minimum supervision;
• Able to work under pressure, adhere to deadlines, and work within flexible hours;
• Capable of receiving and follow instructions and communicating with co-workers;
• Hands-on experience in working within the events industry will be considered an asset;
• Must be in possession of a clean driving license, and ideally also a driving License C or C1;
• Able to read and adhere to labels, safety warnings, and guidelines;
• Willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
