Client Accountant

Manpower is currently seeking to recruit a suitable candidate to join its client's accounting team. The candidate should have a passion for work and a drive to progress within the team. A career path shall be clearly delineated upon recruitment. The ideal candidate should be motivated, able to adhere to deadlines as well as driven to expand technical knowledge.

Responsibilities for the role will include:

• Preparation of management accounts;
• Closing off accounts and carrying out year-end procedures prior to audit;
• Reviewing VAT returns;
• Supporting team members on technical matters;
• Planning and scheduling of work among team members, ensuring deadlines are met and budgets are adhered to;
• Liaising directly with clients.

Particular skills required:

• A minimum of 3 years experience within the local corporate services sector
• As a minimum, be in possession of a locally recognised accounting qualification;
• Excellent communication skills in English;
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

Experience in payroll and related matters and knowledge of the Italian language will be considered assets.
