Production Technician
SUMMARY
Manpower(IWSL) is seeking to recruit Production Technicians for our clients. Reporting to the Engineering & Building Services Manager, the Production Technician will perform predictive, routine, preventive and breakdown maintenance on production equipment.
Main duties include:
- Setting up of the automation machines
- Work with minimum supervision and show enough initiative and drive to complete work to the required standards. He must show diligence in his work by responding quickly to maintenance calls whilst liaising fully with the department concerned
- Perform preventive maintenance, predictive, routine and breakdown maintenance.
- Ensuring that quality, efficiency, production targets and uptime are reached in the most cost-effective manner.
- Work as a team member and in close collaboration with the team leader
The chosen candidate must have a hands-on approach to problem-solving, be willing to take up new challenges and possess the ability to prioritize.
Job Requirements:
- Good written and verbal skills in English
- Previous experience in Manufacturing Production, working both Electrical & Mechanical
- Preferably in possession of BTEC Higher National Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
- Ideally holder of Electrical License A and B (A minimum of License A)
Previous experience in a similar position or plc knowledge will be considered an asset.
