MEP Tendering & Procurement Officer

On behalf of our client, Manpower Malta is seeking an MEP Tendering & Procurement Officer to support tendering, procurement, and commercial activities across a portfolio of MEP projects. This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional who can manage tender submissions, build supplier relationships, and help secure cost-effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and monitor tender opportunities across public and private sectors
• Prepare and submit tender documentation, BOQs, pricing schedules, and compliance documents
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Assess commercial and technical risks during the tendering process
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
• Obtain competitive pricing and manage procurement activities
• Prepare supplier comparisons and commercial evaluations
• Raise and track purchase orders and delivery schedules
• Maintain tender records and procurement databases
• Collaborate with engineering, commercial, and site teams to support project delivery

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Tendering, Procurement, Quantity Surveying, Estimating, or the Construction/MEP sector
• Good understanding of BOQs, tender documentation, and MEP terminology
• Knowledge of the Maltese construction industry
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP
• Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills
• Fluency in English and Maltese
• Valid driving licence, own vehicle, and eligibility to work in Malta

Preferred

• Experience within the MEP or Building Services sector
• Familiarity with Malta's EPPS tendering system
• Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Procurement, Building Services Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with CostX, Trimble, SAP, or similar software
• Professional memberships such as MRICS or CIPS
• Italian language skills
