Chief Officer Finance

Manpower Malta, on behalf of our client, are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial planning and control functions. This senior leadership role is responsible for managing all aspects of financial operations, including cashflow management, financial and regulatory reporting, statutory audits, credit control, and corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and coordinate corporate finance operations
• Ensure financial management and corporate governance in line with international accounting standards and best practices
• Oversee financial planning and control, cashflow, reporting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, and credit control
• Manage statutory audits and liaise with internal and external auditors
• Support the clients service delivery standards
• Oversee project cost accounting and financial compliance

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Accountancy (MQF Level 7 or higher) recognised by the Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC)
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holder of a valid Warrant
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership position
• Knowledge of public sector financial and procurement legislation is considered an asset
