Junior Tax Accountant

Our client, one of the leading corporate service providers in Malta, is looking to recruit a Junior Tax Accountant.

The successful chosen candidate will form part of a dynamic team that handles a predominantly international clientele operating across a wide range of industries as well as the firms private clients. .

We are looking for a motivated individual who is interested in further pursuing their career in taxation with a particular focus on tax compliance. The chosen candidate will be working as part of a team handling a portfolio of clients and under the ongoing supervision of other more senior members of the team.

General responsibilities will include:

• VAT Returns and other related VAT documents
• TAX computations and preparations of tax returns
• Reporting to management on a regular basis
• Managing a diversified portfolio of companies
• Ensuring deadlines are met
• Providing quality service to clients

Requirements of the ideal candidate:

• Undergoing their ACCAs / Degree in Accounts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
• Having excellent written and spoken English
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and efficient
• Able to work within a team
