Shipping Executive (8 Months)
On Behalf of our client, Manpower (Innovative Workforce Solution Limited) is seeking to recruit a Shipping Executive for 8 months.
Duties:
- Maintaining an updated list of contact details related to all suppliers and other agents.
- Corresponding with various shipping agencies, getting the best prices and booking the required freight.
- Verifying that all shipping documents are accurate and forwarded in a timely manner.
- Managing the process required for issuing GRNs and updating all company records accordingly.
- Main person responsible for shipment costings and payment terms with shipping agencies.
- Aid in solving any insurance issues with the finance department.
- Issuing of monthly reports as required by higher management .
- Collaborating with other colleagues to ensure logistics processes are of optimum level.
Requirements:
- Must speak fluent English
- Must be able to adapt to a fast paced environment
- Fluency in Maltese is considered an asset
