Head Of Engineering

Our client as part of their expansion strategy is offering an employment opportunity for a Head of Engineering.

Reporting directly to the Head of Quarries & Maintenance, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the maintenance and repair of all plants (asphalt, crusher and concrete).
• Overseeing the maintenance and repair of the pre-cast section as well as the workshop.
• Implementing and coordinating daily procedures to maintain operating efficiency.
• Investigating delays, damages or accidents that may occur whilst taking corrective action and ensuring that the proper procedures are followed.

The successful candidate should preferably have:

• Engineering qualifications (B.Eng (Hons) or similar) as well as 3-5 years relevant experience in a similar position.
• Hands-on supervisory experience in the construction industry will be considered beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills in both the Maltese and English languages.
• A driving license (Lic B).
