Civil Engineer

Our client as part of their expansion strategy is offering an employment opportunity for a Head of Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to the Head of Quarries & Maintenance
• Overseeing the maintenance and repair of all plants (asphalt, crusher and concrete)
• Overseeing the maintenance and repair of the pre-cast section as well as the workshop
• Implementing and coordinating daily procedures to maintain operating efficiency
• Investigating delays, damages or accidents that may occur whilst taking corrective action and ensuring that the proper procedures are followed

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering (B.Eng (Hons) or similar)
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in a similar position.
• Hands-on supervisory experience in the construction industry will be considered beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills in both the Maltese and English languages.
• A driving license (Lic B).
