Junior Social Media Executive

Our Client is looking for a Junior Social Media Executive to join their team! If you have some experience in the news or media industry and love creating content, this could be a great fit for you. In this role, you'll help manage and grow the social media presence for an online news portal. You'll be working across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok, focusing on posting engaging content and growing our audience. You should be up to date with social media trends and have basic content creation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and post content on Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and more.
• Create and run social media strategies to boost engagement and followers.
• Create eye-catching graphics and simple videos to enhance social media posts.
• Monitor social media trends, track performance, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Respond to comments, messages, and interact with followers to build a community.
• Collaborate with the editorial and marketing teams to align content with the brands voice and goals.
• Assist with ad hoc social media tasks for other projects and industries as needed.
• Track social media performance and help prepare reports.

Requirements:

• Experience in the news or media industry.
• Familiar with social media management tools and analytics.
• Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Ability to create and edit simple videos for social media use.
• Understanding of social media platforms and trends, particularly Facebook, Instagram, X, and TikTok.
• Communication skills and ability to write compelling copy.
• Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with SEO, content marketing, and digital advertising is a plus.
