Security Manager

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with department managers to assess security needs.
• Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies.
• Manage the security operations budget, monitor expenses, and document processes.
• Supervise, recruit, and train security personnel.
• Gather security intelligence and implement preventative measures.
• Plan work schedules, allocate tasks, and monitor personnel performance.
• Coordinate responses to emergencies and alarms, and compile incident reports.
• Schedule and oversee surveillance equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Stay updated on new technologies and advancements in security services.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and security industry regulations.
• Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs.
• Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events.
• Coordinate staff responses during emergencies and alarms.
• Review incident reports and conduct investigations to resolve issues.
• Generate reports for management on security status.

Requirements:

• BSc/BA in Safety Management or relevant field.
• Valid qualification in occupational health and safety.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Minimum of 3 years proven experience as a Security Manager.
• Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines.
• Ability to produce reports and develop relevant policies.
• Proficient in data analysis and risk assessment.
• Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and observation ability.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours based on business demands.
• Ability to work under pressure.
