Laborer/Driver
Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Driver/Labourer to join our client's team.
The selected candidate will support daily delivery, transportation, site, and workshop activities. This position is suitable for a dependable and practical individual who is comfortable carrying out physical work and completing different operational tasks. The role involves transporting personnel, lifts, equipment, and materials safely between designated locations. The employee will also assist with loading and unloading activities, general site cleaning, and basic manufacturing work in the workshop.
The position includes a combination of driving, on-site work, and workshop-based duties. Early starts or extended working hours may occasionally be required, depending on operational and delivery schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, secure, and transport lifts, equipment, materials, and personnel safely between designated locations.
- Inspect the assigned vehicle and ensure it remains clean, fuelled, organised, and in good working condition.
- Follow traffic regulations, workplace safety procedures, delivery instructions, and company policies.
- Carry out general cleaning, debris removal, and organisational tasks to maintain safe and tidy job sites.
- Assist with the manufacture of brackets and other components using basic workshop tools and equipment under supervision.
Key Requirements:
- Valid Category B driving licence and a clean driving record.
- Physically fit and able to safely load, unload, lift, and move equipment or materials.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with customers and colleagues.
- Punctual, responsible, trustworthy, and able to follow instructions accurately.
- Flexible availability to work early starts or occasional extended hours when required.
