Job Description

Manpower is seeking a Wealth Manager for a Branch in Gozo. He/She will be reporting to the Senior Wealth Manager, the selected candidate will manage an assigned customer portfolio in line with the Bank`s strategy. The selected candidate will be providing Financial Advice to customers, ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention whilst being responsible for leading sales and service initiatives including customer on-boarding, cross-selling opportunities and customer support.

Assignment Description

Duties and responsibilities:
Ensuring that the assigned customer portfolio is profitable for the Bank in line with a set of KPIs and profitability targets defined at budget level
Building long lasting profitable relationship to ensure customer loyalty
Attracting new affluent and mass affluent customers
Providing investment advice to new and existing affluent and mass affluent customers in line with the customer`s financial needs, risk profile, applicable regulation and internal standards, also having such advice documented accordingly
Ensuring that customers obtain regular investment information and portfolio reviews, therefore delivering a superior investment advice and monitoring service
Effectively communicating with other areas of the Bank to promote cross-selling
Keeping abreast with financial news, industry best practices and related legislation to be able to provide support to customers
Administrative duties to fulfil the exigencies of the role, including but not limited to setting up of new customers, opening of new accounts, updating customers data on the Bank`s core systems, ensuring documentation of customers` files and investment recommendations is kept up to date
Required knowledge, skills and experience
Diploma for Financial Advisors (DipFA) and/or Banking and finance or another equivalent qualification from a tertiary education institution (at least MQF Level 6 or higher).
At least 2 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Maltese and English
Preference will be give to applicants who are already PQ`ed and approved to provide investment advice by the MFSA
