Manpower is seeking a Marketing Executive, To assist the Marketing Manager in day-to-day duties and to increase product placement, brand awareness and implement promotions as well as to increase sales by promoting products and
services
Assignment Description
To learn the key elements for marketing the brands and
keep oneself updated on product specifications.
To ensure brand growth through the promotion and
execution of the brands in the portfolio.
To assist and learn the Moet/Hennessy and Diageo reports
(monthly and weekly).
To align oneself to the Diageo and Moet/Hennessy ways of
doing business and exploiting the brands.
To gather and communicate market information trends to
the Marketing and Sales Management team.
To coordinate with the Marketing Manager to sponsor
events within the Company’s customer base that
introduces the Company’s goals, mission culture and
products/services to potential customers.
To take responsibility for the perfect execution of all
Company activities and promotions.
To organize all company activities and promotions even
during weekends and public holidays with the assistance
of promoters.
To oversee/spot check company activities/promotions
outside office hours in agreement with
the Marketing Manager.
To handle any setting up of display windows for shops or
such outlets.
To communicate with customers through Mailchimp (or
other similar tools) on a regular basis.
To liaise with clients in providing information with regards
to the products and services.
To provide and organize information packages and
brochures.
To intercept customers and promote ongoing offers.
To learn the client base of the company and ensure good
relations with all the company’s clients both on trade and
off trade.
To perform periodic reports of the activities and results
which take place.
To carry out periodical market researches and assist in
their analysis.
To implement and maintain plans to reach the set targets.
To attend seminars and fairs both locally and overseas
when needed without extra remuneration.
To participate in Webex conference calls should the need
arise.
To make recommendations to the marketing manager
with regards to ordering of any POS and other promotional
items.
To keep the POS room at the warehouse in a proper and
tidy position and ensure POS materials are returned in
good condition and placed in their allocated sections.
To assist the Marketing Manager with Media
communications and to manage all Social and Digital
Media content such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.
To maintain a positive working relationship with all media
and draft articles for publication.
To keep the company’s website updated on a daily basis.
To handle/control marketing budgets available.
To keep up to date the marketing budgets as per our
partners’ requirements.
To maintain an active log of actual expenses versus budget
on a regular basis.
To align oneself with the company’s dress code.
To maintain high customer care standards throughout and
to ensure a high quality/standard of work and service
throughout.
Requirements Interested candidates must:
Have a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role;
Possess a Marketing Diploma / Degree;
Be innovative, diligent, creative and have good presentation skills;
Be a team player and have a hands-on approach towards work;
Be able to work independently with minimum supervision;
Be capable of undertaking analysis of marketing campaigns;
Be able to handle multiple projects and to deliver at an international
level;
Be able to organize and manage events;
Be able to plan, develop and implement
effective marketing communication campaigns;
Have good knowledge of social media and web analytics;
Have an excellent level of verbal and written communication skills in
Maltese and English;
Be proficient in MS Office;
Be willing to travel overseas.
Skills in producing basic artworks will be considered an asset.
