Protesters from Palestine Action block vehicle access to the factory of UAV Tactical Systems with a car with a protester crouching with his arm attached to a lock-on inside a rucksack on the back seat of the car. Protesters from Palestine Action have been protesting outside the UAV Tactical Systems factory in Leicester since May 1, 2023. Police issued a section 14 allowing protesters to demonstrate at a certain area across the factory. Any protest that breaches the order will result in arrest. Protesters made this action to protest against the weapons produced in the UK by Israeli defence company, Elbit Systems, and their subsidiary companies. They argue that drones and their components, made in Leicester are being used against Palestinians in Gaza and elsewhere. Palestine Action are determined to keep up pressure on Elbit Systems and through direct action, force the company out of the UK. So far two of their ten businesses have been forced to close.
