Here we have a super rare and beautiful vintage original Philips Tourismo Speciale 22RN661 / 00 HIGH-END classic car auto radio in beautifully refurbished condition! This high-end Philips radio was an original factory option for the Jaguar E-type (XKE) series 2. Of course this model could be found in many other exclusive British classic cars of the period. The radio works on 6 and 12 Volt negative ground cars and on 12 Volt POSITIVE ground cars. The radio features all the available wave bands: Long wave (L), medium wave (M), short wave (K) and the coveted FM wave (U). The radio also features a 6-pin DIN socket to which external playback devices can be connected. This vintage Philips radio will fit any classic car of the period which is prepared by the factory to receive a radio. Check if the radio aperture of your car is still original, the faceplate is small and measures 172 x 50 millimetres (6,77 x 1,97 Inches).
