The Grand Prix 5000 road bike tyre features the latest technologies. An updated version of Continental’s Black Chilli compound results in a perfect balance between rolling resistance and traction. With the Lazer Grip technology, the tyre’s tread shoulders have been roughened to give the Continental GP 5000 optimal traction when cornering. This laser profile also improves air flow around the tyre for enhanced aerodynamics.

More stability and comfort
The Continental GP 5000's carcass has also been improved. The new 330 tpi, 3-layer construction is more rigid than that of its predecessor. This has improved the GP 5000's stability in turns and at high speeds. The tyre also has an Active Comfort layer. As the name suggests, Active Comfort enhances your riding comfort.
